Tōge With Me #2 - Sempah Ulu Yam Sunday Trip

It's a fine Sunday morning again, means it's another chill drive up for breakfast together with all of my sifu and senior this round. Today, we gonna Tōge our favourite route of all, Sempah 😏

Sempah is a narrow single lane route on​ each side and it consists​ a lot of corners and hairpin turn from the Starting Grid Bridge towards the end at Sempah RnR. I arrived at our usual meet up spot around 6.45 AM and wait for the others.

Our meetup point is at the bridge which we called it Starting Grid and I was told that @dxn had already gone​ up RnR Sempah super early morning when the sky is still dark while @tommichoo and his friend was waiting for us.

Some of the cars​ consist​ of today's Tōge are

• BMW E30 x1 (Senior)
• Perodua Bezza x1 (Stock Master)
• Perodua Kenari x2 (Brake & Tōge Sifu)
• Toyota AE80 Corolla (Speed Sifu)
• Proton Satria Neo x1
• Ford Fiesta x1 (Not in any photo because is too fast to be captured​ 😬)
• Honda City GM6 x2

Some of the others are​ still late even after 7 AM so @kllam15 and I went up first to avoid some of the cyclists​. To​ our surprise, today has lesser cyclist going up Sempah than jogger which to us is a good thing as we do not need to avoid them.

Fueling Up

We reach Sempah RnR within 15-17 minutes of attacking corners, it's time to fill our car with some fresh cold petrol. My car loves the petrol here, it just feels​ much more powered after using the fuel here even the petrol station comes out with an awesome simple advertisement​ on each of the petrol kiosks​.

I'm agreeing on this! 😏

After fueling up, we went to the McDonalds which is nearby for our breakfast as we're pretty hungry to drive to the other side for breakfast. Another saying of us is Sempah McDonald is much tastier​ than the others 😂

We had to stay here until 11 AM something as JPJ decided to open roadblock at the roundabout nearby preventing us from going to our next destination as that's the only road that​ connects between Sempah RnR & Gohtong. One of the member's car​ is not so road legal which we all had to wait for the roadblock to end.

Once the roadblock has cleared, we then proceed to go to​ our next destination, Ulu Yam using the bypass through Gohtong Jaya which is a short 25-30 minutes drive uphill and downhill. We reach Hock Lay Restaurant about 12 PM which is just in time for Lunch.

After our lunch around 1.30PM, we all went back home and I have another meetup with Steemians at Atria later which I will write it in another post 😉. It was a somewhat fun Tōge but JPJ kind of ruin some of the fun 😅.
