When many individuals come together and produce something then we are still within the realm of capitalism since everyone wants to make profit at the end of the day.
Exactly. I've tried to explain to communists that all economics systems are "capitalist"; the only difference is whether it's laissez-faire or monopolist. There hasn't been one civilization living beyond subsistent levels without using capital.

Only if we let them. The beauty of free market is that we get to help people however we want. This is a common fallacy that people have a hard time with. "If we don't have a state, the poor will starve" Well that is a very bleak way of looking at humanity. Even with all the burdens that government has put on us I can confidently say that I have seen a lot more people being helped by other people/churches/charities than I have seen helped by the government and I would bet that you would say the same.
