Steem being listed on Huobi, perhaps. Always a little kick from a new exchange listing. Particularly against the general current trend of coin delistings.
The smart ass answer is there are more buyer then sellers today.
As far as a technicals answer, as best as I understand, Steem didn't break through the support line with the weekend swoon and has bounced which is a buy signal.
Too early to say. I have seen such spikes in Steem many times before. But hey... It is good the see Steem show some relative strength for once.
