Stardawg and Silver

Yesterday we had some errands to run in Trinidad which we had been looking forward to for a while. Laundry was way overdue, we both had mail to pick up, and also decided to stock up on cannabis while we were there.

The drive from our campsite to Trinidad is about 2 hours away. It was lunch time when we arrived so we decided to get something to eat.

Our favorite Asian restaurant in town is called Wonderful House. I had cashew chicken and Lylith had mushroom beef.

They also serve hot tea on the house and each lunch meal is served with soup, fried rice, one spring roll, and one crab rangoon.

Next we went to Rooted which is a popular cannabis shop on main street. Their top shelf buds were very high priced and their "discount" bud was not very appealing. You can get an ounce of shake here for $49 and popcorn bud for $79.

Since Rooted was disappointing we went next door to Freedom Road. This is one of Lylith's favorites stores and they usually have some good selection.

The workers here were very friendly and the bud selection was pretty decent on the low end. This Stardawg pictured above was on their "grower's special" for $120 per ounce which is their bottom shelf.

The bud quality and smell seemed to be very good in this price range so I chose this one. Lylith chose one called Death Star which was also a good buy for the price on their mid-shelf.

Once done with shopping, we went to our friend Maria and Danny's apartment. I planned on doing laundry at their facilities but they were already in use. Lylith stayed with Maria while I went to the laundromat and proceeded to do 4 giant loads of laundry.

My mail had arrived! I had ordered 12 of these buffalo nickel themed stackable silver rounds. They were on sale from my favorite bullion website. I gave one to Maria to thank her for taking our mail and one to Lylith.

On our way out of town we went to Habanero's for their awesome Chimichangas. We stopped at a rest stop on the way back and ate some but were full before 1/3 finished! This morning we had some for breakfast and still couldn't finish them.
