Surveillance would have been an awesome idea, and fun idea for a post, but I'll have to wait until cryptos do their moonshot ; D
I value your input but in the end I went with safety. The spot will be cleaned and made available for a clone of one of the other plants, so all that was lost was time. I learn something from everything I do in the garden, even pulling a plant.
Definitely not crying about it... unless that doesn't fix the problem, of course!

had todecided to pull one of the bean plants, so yeah I get it dude, if your intuition said chop it, you made the right choice!PS. I love the "climactic" like photograph.. 🤣
