Uh oh! Leaves with HOLES!
Please help me identify this sudden problem of holes in leaves! I can't see any bugs. These holes are appearing in a matter of hours, not days. The plant is about 2 months old from seed, and otherwise healthy. My other 6 plants are unaffected. For more info and photos, see my post about it yesterday.

I would guess some sort of caterpillar, but then they'd probably still be around, hanging on the underside of the leaves. Otherwise, grasshoppers or paper wasps who can eat and run?
Yeah caterpillars can be nasty! I’ve seen them burrow themselves into the stem!

That does suck, but the plant looks very healthy. I would personally not cut it, maybe isolate.
It's hard to say for sure, but I would definitely guess caterpillar.
Maybe put some surveillance on it if you have the equipment to do so, other than that I have no great ideas besides keeping a very watchful eye on it. It looks great otherwise.
Surveillance would have been an awesome idea, and fun idea for a post, but I'll have to wait until cryptos do their moonshot ; D
I value your input but in the end I went with safety. The spot will be cleaned and made available for a clone of one of the other plants, so all that was lost was time. I learn something from everything I do in the garden, even pulling a plant.
Definitely not crying about it... unless that doesn't fix the problem, of course!

had todecided to pull one of the bean plants, so yeah I get it dude, if your intuition said chop it, you made the right choice!PS. I love the "climactic" like photograph.. 🤣
