Premature pollen ejaculation! My naughty male exploded on all the girls!

What a mess! Plant baby-juice all over my medicine patch! One of my Steem OG plants dropped a ball yesterday, and it must have matured overnight! Uh oh, pollen cleanup on aisle S5!

( S5's lower leaves are covered in it, and the pollen is probably all over the garden thanks to the fan. )

After seeing that, it wasn't long before I located the culprit - Yup, it was that pollen sac that appeared after the recent transplant. Perhaps stress from the move caused him to mature (at least in one spot) a little... too soon?

( All he had to say for himself was "I swear, this almost never happens!" )

I've grown feminized seeds before (seeds that have been treated so they are all female, ie: they won't grow pollen sacs). It has an obvious advantage in that you don't have to get rid of any male plants. But as @jonyoudyer says, pollen isn't always a bad thing, and sometimes it can be a good thing! I collected some of the fine yellow dust in a glass vial, and put it away for later use.

Now, there are 4 Steem OG and 3 MK Ultra plants. As for the others, most haven't yet shown their sex, which means they're probably too young to get 'pregnant'. The pollen will mostly be blown away and/or dried out by the time the female flowers are really blooming, in about a week or two. I'll do my best to clean up.

If there are any pregnancies, at least they'll be knocked up with Steem OG genetics. I don't have any clones of these plants, and these were the only seeds I have access to right now, so if I get a new generation of Steem OG (or a brand new cross of Steem OG and MK Ultra), I won't complain! (If I get seeds, yes, I will be sharing some with my subscribers.) I have more MK Ultra seeds in my storage, so I'm not as interested in getting male MK Ultras.

Having another look at M3, one of 3 remaining MKUltra plants, it does appear to be female:

S5 is gone, but now there's more room for the other 7, and soon I'll have 4 strong females to grow medicine for me - and maybe some seeds, too!
