100 Strains Bud Review: God's Green Crack x White Widow
In the heyday of Vancouver's free market dispensary scene, MediKatie and I tried out at least 100 strains, including this absolute fire: God's Green Crack crossed with White Widow!

Date: May 2015
We wrote this about it in our strain log: "Nice, dark, dry but sticky, purple! and brown, sparkly nugs and kief".
Smell: "Dank, like Pinesol" (after grinding)
Taste: "Pine and Diesel" (vapourized)
Effect: "Happy, energetic high"
Having this as our 3rd dispensary strain definitely stoked our excitement to try more... and we did! The following 18 months saw us buying, trading for, and being gifted many strains, both classic and exotic!
These delicious and beneficial strains began a 2+ year nonstop cannabis buying and testing phase, which we documented with notes and photographs. (We even loved dispensaries so much, we did a YouTube video teaching other people how to get access to cannabis this way! We also protested dispensary closures, started a 2.5 year cannabis farmers market in downtown Vancouver, and were part of a "Dispensary Safety Squad" which aimed to protect other activists fighting cannabis prohibition.)

Damn, those were some of the best strains ever! Truly inspiring! I can see the trichomes from here without my glasses one! My favourite were the purple and white strains ;) I wonder if we'd still be alive today if we didn't make that magic rainbow oil from our hundred+ strains...

So cool you documented all your strains. I so wish I would of done that. Especially the Og kush I was getting in the mid 2000's, OMG i can smell those terps just by thinking about it.
Yeah! We wish we had started even earlier (like all our black market purchases over the years). But it's cool to have a lot documented, most of it with photo and/or video too. We called the little book of strains "the cannalogue" :)
We vaped all those strains, and kept the dried out bud after. When the cannalogue was almost full, we had about 100 strains, and made RSO out of the vaped bud. It was bonkers. One little spec of the oil in some food, and you're flying to a new realm, not to mention having a sleep so deep you don't even remember going to bed, with no hangover. That "rainbow oil" helped us through some rough times. Also, it felt powerful to have the knowledge and experience needed to produce real medicine and make a real difference in our lives. It was part of what made MediKatie, MediKatie. It happened at a legendary time in a legendary place, and we were blessed to be part of it.
