How Government Stands In The Way Of Understanding More About Cannabis

in #cannabis5 years ago

For decades now the US government has waged a war against cannabis and other drugs. In doing so it has prevented schools and scientists around the country from being able to explore the potential of cannabis. There are strict guidelines to follow for anyone that wants to engage in any cannabis investigation, such as how they can conduct the study or where they can source cannabis samples from to include in that study, and so on.

There is a great deal of violence and restriction in place which has significantly prevented scientists from investigating cannabis and all that it has to offer.

So, when health officials and government officials insist that cannabis freedom needs to be limited because we just don't know enough about it yet, the problem is their own doing. And if restriction on this plant is to remain in place until we do understand that plant better, then such an understanding will never come about, if investigation is prevented to such an extent in the way that it still is today.

This is a plant that can produce materials to be used to create thousands of different items, everything from animal bedding to animal feed, clothing, textiles, and more. It already has created thousands of jobs and if restrictions were lifted could likely easily go on to fuel thousands more in job creation for the market.

For those scientists that have had the limited freedom to explore investigating cannabis over the years, we have discovered some incredible truths about this plant.

Studies have shown that cannabis has the potential to help people seek remedy from a wide range of ailments. Cannabis researchers have alleged that cannabis might have the potential to help relieve symptoms of Autism, might help to counter addiction, and much more.

To a large extent though there is still a great suppression of scientific freedom and individual liberty in general when it comes to cannabis and "drugs" in general in the United States and elsewhere. Individuals are significantly prevented from investigating the truth for themselves.

The violence that prevents those from investigating cannabis is an unreasonable injustice and it would be for our own benefit if we understood more about what cannabis can offer.
