Is cbd from hemp the same as cbd from cannabis?

This question is flawed. Why? Because all hemp is cannabis, though not all cannabis is hemp! The United States government differentiated hemp from cannabis by definition in the federal farm bill of 2014 section 7606 to state that all cannabis with less than 0.3 percent THC is defined as hemp.
Now, the subject can be broken down to even more analytics. Not all hemp is created equal and furthermore not all oil is created equal.
Most hemp throughout history has been grown for its seed because hempseed oil is high in omega-3's and other essential fatty acid's as well as protein and other vitamins and minerals. So hempseed hempseed oil and hemp is a superfood packed w greatness. Also the other vast majority of hemp has been grown for it's pulpous fibre in order to make industrial hemp products like Rope, houses, etc. Hemp rope has been used on US Navy ships for decades.
These genetic cultivars grown for fibrous pulp generally lack and abundance of cannabinoids as well as desired Terpenes. I say desired because they're still terpenes there however they're not nearly as elite (beneficial, desired) as some of the more artisanal genetics offer.

What is an artisanal hemp strain?
One that does not produce the same type of stalk which can grow up to 12 to 14 feet tall while producing beautiful flowers meaning hemp does exist that produces absolutely impeccable profiles of cannabinoids & terpenes.
I grow these artisanal strains of cannabis with less than 0.3% thc. I also grow higher thc content plants.
Fun fact: there are plants that test at 15 percent THC that are stronger than plants that test at 29 percent THC. How? If it says 29% it must be stronger than 15%, right? well,Strong is subjective. Concerning THC potency sure it's stronger concerning holistic benefit I would say that A strain with 15 percent THC & an abundant amount of terpenes is generally way stronger than a strain that has 29 percent THC lacking terpenes. Terpenes, aside from containing their own benefits of mood and function, are what helps the medicine cross our blood brain barrier. No terpenes, less feeling, less smell, worse taste, less effective.

Even if I had the greatest strain, the extraction process is very important to determine resulting efficacy and so is how the material is taken care of once it has grown that is called the curing process. Most large scale companies dont cure + utilize co2 extraction machines creAting a purified extract/oil that is now industry standard. Co2 strips the terpenes in its process, so the oil must have flavor added back to it, hence companies like cweb cbd+ etc using co2 and generally have to add flavor to their flagship co2 products.
The same 2 strains extracted in dif ways will produce dif results. Its like proudly promoting vegetarian fed chickens, chickens need protein (bugs, worms) just as much as cannabis needs terpenes.
The process GuerillaHealer uses produces a liposomal product, extracted with a 100% solvent-free process in smaller batches than industrial size co2 machines. Liposomal means molecules are encased in a lipid shell for maximum bioavailability. Cannabis as we know is fat soluble, so delivering cannabinoids and terpenes in a healthy fat helps our body uptake the beneficials without waste and deliver to necessary parts of our body. For instance; olive oil to address lymphatic system, coconut oil to address liver, avocado oil to address intestines.
Furthermore, extraction methods may or may not concentrate undesirables as well, including elements from the growing medium as well as potential fungicides herbicides pesticides depending how where its grown. So many products from China including tea and hemp test positive for heavy metals like lead. Theres arsenic in the ground also.
Cleanliness is another reason GuerillaHealer supports the oil created by this unique method we offer because it discards the undesirables while retaining the derisables.
Quality and compassionate care are where my focus fly. Details matter.
Here are a couple pics of hemp grown by me here under the Colorado sun!

My brother .. you have a wealth of information around cannabis, hemp and the intent to access the many medicinal qualities we can utilize. I bear witness to your knowledge, humility and passion to contribute to this development and application into our culture. I honor and support you as a catalyst for positive change in this world, and in my personal local COmmUnity.

This blog specifically is wonderful. The cannabis culture continues to shift and ebb and flow. Since my introduction in the early 80's, I have watched my own relationship, insights, lessons, mistakes and maturities develop, break down, shift and then re-define over and over again. From feeling cool cause I was a ganja man, to feeling humbled by the potency and potential as an adaptogen, to the more recent clarity on just how many benefits this lovely plant truly offers. The science still matters. And the scientific method runs deep, but it's still serves us all collectively to be articulate with our studies, our revisions, our hypothesis and our criticisms as well. And with all of these endeavors, transparency with our intentions lends insight into all proposed conclusions.

I am honored to have you as a resource in this (but not exclusive to this) specific field. Thank you and I welcome your knowledge, wisdom and insights. Give Thanks!!

Thank you for the feedback honored to be in your field of vision as a messenger of love

beautiful plant shots as well. . .

Thank you brother honored to be held in regard by you as you take such great care of your focus I am Also impressed with your posts I've been noticing you're doing great and I'm really happy for you you serve well

Yep it's not all about THC. It's about the basket of cannabinoids and terpenes. Also about the ratio of different cannabinoids in the bud.

Definition of hemp both in EU in US served mostly prohibition. THC rich plants were curbed and the public was convinced that somehow we have two different species, which we know is pure bullshit as both CBD and THC are synthesised along the same metabolic pathway from CBG.

We also know thanks to folks at Phylos, that hemp is closely related to indica, which commonly produces copious amounts of THC together with CBD + is myrcene based in term of terpene profile.

It's just different cultivar bred for different reasons.

Thank you for your feedback though I do not agree with your statement about hemp because there are so many different types of hemp many of which contain little to no myrcene. Open for discussion of course anytime much love save me Open for discussion of course anytime much love
