How To Optimize Our Cannabis Experience

Those of us less familiar with cannabis will learn too.

Some of us have heard about consuming certain foods prior, during, or after communing with cannabis in order to intensify the effect.

One of these foods is mango. Why? Mango has a high content of myrcene which is a terpene shared with cannabis and when they are present together it produces a couch like effect commonly associated with ‘indica’. In fact, indica dominant strains are distinguished by there myrcene content.

Still, this isnt about mango terps.

What could this be about?

Ill be honest
Its rather simple
In fact, it related to something commonly associated with getting high that I generally do not hear much about.

Hydration


One thing we hear about is the famously dreaded cotton mouth. Cotton mouth is considered a normal occurrence when using cannabis.

Believe it or not, ALS (lou gehrigs disease) patients can benefit from cotton mouth because control of the muscle to swallow is often lost, so drying up mucus allows the individual to breathe unobstructed.

Ever the more, we all know about cotton mouth, though we dont generally address it and while my focus may result in addressing cotton mouth, this article is more about our quality of life.

Since I began drinking mountain water, my level of hydration is typically more saturated then ever (as opposed to other water that was actually leaving my feeling dry). My energy level is high, my cells are conducting energy easier, and I feel way more alive!

Using cannabis has always been a joy, though feeling drowsy is usually not ideal.

Drinking more water daily, and drinking extra water when consuming cannabis provides me with the optimal cannabis experience!

Feeling medicated with no lethargy or tiredness. Its a likely occurrence that I can be enjoying an indica strain and feel couched, though being adequately hydrated means I still have energy and dont feel like a zombie. It is a much different feeling then the general lumpiness of getting stoned.

If theres anything I ever say that you listen to, may it be drink more water (and of course holiness is tolerance)

Our cells can conduct energy better when hydrated. Cannabis helps us dial in our endocannabinoid systems regulating our major body systems. Water is life. Enjoy more water.

Just think of the difference between a flowing stream of water in the mountains compared to a stagnant pool of water that is drying up. The flowing stream is clean and charged with electrical energy, whereas the stagnant water is dirty and harbors unhealthy microorganisms.

When our bodies are dehydrated, the tissues become dry, the colon becomes constipated, the blood becomes sticky and thicker, and cells do not get adequate hydration, nutrients, and oxygenation.

Water is a solvent and the primary means of transport in the body. Water regulates all functions of the body, including the activity of the solutes it carries throughout the body.

Water delivers key nutrients, enzymes, hormones and other essential substances to tissue and cells, and adequate water is needed to safely and effectively remove toxins through the processes of detoxification.

This means that we need to be drinking enough water on a daily basis to stay hydrated and to facilitate movement and energy flow in the physical body.”
