Eye of the Tiger

Sunday, December 6th, 2020; keep forging ahead.

The current time in Eugene 7:21 AM, Anchorage 6:22 AM, Melbourne 2:23 AM, Warsaw 4:24 PM.

Here are the latest numbers from Worldometer:

67,033,781 people have been infected around the globe with Covid-19.

1,537,348 have died from the disease. 46,399,854 have recovered. 3% death rate.

The rest are open cases awaiting an outcome.

Had to take a break for the holidays. There are things to be thankful for even as the U.S. drifts into toxic territory. Health officials say contact tracing can no longer be reliable because there’s so much Coronavirus in the environment. You could catch it almost anywhere these days.

As for me, things have changed with the Presidential election ending. Hunter S. Thompson might have stopped on the campaign trail, only we’re going to continue all the way to the end. Either a vaccine saves us and we go back to normal. Or things get a lot worse…

God only knows.

Once again back to the theme of this blog post today. As the former CEO and Owner Operator of From A to Z, I’ve been asked by business associates, and the incoming administration to write something about the vision for space exploration and colonization of the solar system.

While I can’t go into specifics, as new technology keeps being developed to keep pace with constant observations that change our understanding of the Universe, I can give highlights of the synopsis around the core of what’s pushing this all forward.

It begins with the Pandemic. A sign that we need a clean environment. An end to climate change and wildfires. We need to find balance, it’s called the Force in Star Wars.

For that to happen Hemp needs to be grown everywhere for use in things like solar panels and batteries. The raw material for a new generation of green machines manufactured from sustainable material.

This also helps early colonies on other planets and moons. They must be sustainable without resupply for years possibly. As we do it on Earth we can replicate that in our expansion plans.

That’s it for now. It’s a drastic change from the Trump Administration and we really tried to work with them. Not sure why they didn’t want eco-friendly business to grow rapidly. Only this shift in policy could be wind in the sails for some projects that have been on hold, and not just for profit, these ideas can save civilization.
