RE: Abolitionist Abstractions Vlog 30: Don't forget the water!
It rains a lot out east, so keeping your tent dry for storing can be a problem for sure. Out west it might get a little morning dew but it drys up very quickly in the almost zero humidity. Yesterday it was so humid in Indiana that my body was dripping with sweat within minutes of leaving my car. I noticed the humidity is like gulf coast humidity in Kentucky and Indiana. Not a good place for van nomading for that reason. I'm heading back to Michigan right now to escape the heat after spending about a week in Kentucky. I stayed with my friend and a hotel for a couple of nights because the night air is unbearable until after midnight and so are the mosquitoes.
It's been pretty brutal in NY since I returned. Past two nights have been pretty damn warm and humid. I might be heading upstate soon if the heat doesn't break. A hotel is last resort for me because the cheapest pet friendly one in the area is $100 per night.
