A fine sight.

Chilly first morning (39 degrees). Setting up coffee and oatmeal. I've lowered my standards to Folger's instant coffee for this trip, but it turns out to be much improved from what my dad used to drink.

And the stove is a little modern miracle. The burner folks up to about 6" x 2", taking no space and weighing almost nothing. You buy the canister of gas, screw the burner on, and it boils water in just va couple minutes. I bought my stove for about $50 a quarter century ago at REI, but now you can get one for $20 at Walmart, less than 1/4 the real price I paid.
