Yesterday @steemitblog posted a welcome post for Byteball on Steem and said that they are doing "more than an airdrop" for all Steemians. They are creating a “bridge” from Byteball to Steem and using it to improve their own platform. So it's a win-win situation for both Steem & Byteball.

Minutes before this post, Byteball's @punqtured posted a detailed post informing us to how to avail this airdrop.

Interestingly, Byteball is paying based on our Steem reputation score and also for referring other users. The greater the reputation is, the higher is the reward. So the first time, our Reputation score is being monetized for us 😊.

Your Steem Reputation Score is worth more

The attestation rewards are as follows:

Steem reputation above 30: you get a $10 reward
Steem reputation above 40: you get a $20 reward
Steem reputation above 50: you get a $40 reward
Steem reputation above 60: you get a $80 reward
Steem reputation above 70: you get a $160 reward

But you won't get all of these reward instantly. Just like Steem author rewards, we'll get these rewards as 50% liquid and the remaining 50% will be locked for one year period through a smart contract.

For availing this offer, you just need to download their wallet and connect your Steem username to your Byteball wallet. Your username will be stored on the Byteball DAG as an attestation (basically proof of your Steem identity). This will allow us to make transactions on Byteball assets by using our Steem username.
