How to Cash Out Byteball Bytes ($GBYTE)

This blog is for NEWBIE CRYPTO TRADERS like my friends @artgirl @dyinkfinity and others ;)

In order to cash out Byteball Bytes, we need an account at any exchange that supports GBYTE. For my fellow Filipinos, I recommend #Bittrex. We could sell Bytes to Bitcoin from Byteball Wallet but minimum is 0.001 BTC. I might try it soon but for now I prefer sending Bytes to Bittrex and buying other altcoins.

(1) Sign Up at Bittrex.com and verify your account if you haven't.

Read Bittrex Tip for Successful Verification:

*My Bittrex account got verified in few minutes only.

*Enable 'Two-Factor Authentication' for additional account security.

(2) Go to your Bittrex WALLETS.

Look for GBYTE symbol, click the green button with arrow down symbol, click 'NEW ADDRESS' and copy GBYTE 'Deposit Address' reference below screenshots.

(3) Go to your Byteball WALLET.

Click 'SEND' and paste your Bittrex GBYTE Deposit Address, enter amount you wish to send and click the blue "SEND" button reference below screenshots.

Check your Bittrex account if the amount has been credited to your GBYTE wallet. My first 55,000,000 Bytes test transfer was successful.

I always make sure to "test the waters" by throwing in a small amount first. In case I make a blunder, losing a small amount for me is but negligible.

I then sent 100,000,000 bytes again to Bittrex. We could send the free 150,000,000 plus we received less 541 bytes fee. See below screenshots.

At Bittrex, we can enable 'Auto-Sell' to automatically sell altcoins to Bitcoin for convenience.

When GBYTE or any altcoin is already converted to BTC we can BUY other altcoins and WITHDRAW it in STEEM, DOGE or BCH to SAVE ON FEES if we want to cash it out in Philippine PESO.

In my case, I "buy" and "withdraw" it in $STEEM. @artgirl sent me 100,000,000 Bytes direct to my Bittrex wallet. If you have a TRUSTED friend with Bittrex, #UpBit or #Cryptopia account, you can send your bytes to him/her to CONSOLIDATE trading/withdrawals and SAVE ON FEES. See below screenshots.

*DO NOT send your coins to strangers or to the wrong deposit address.

How to BUY and WITHDRAW Coins from Bittrex

I enabled "Auto-Sell" so my GBYTE balance was automatically converted to Bitcoin (BTC).

(A) Buy STEEM (or any altcoin)

Go to Bittrex MARKETS and select BTC-STEEM (or any pairs you wish to trade). Click "BID PRICE", select 'Ask' and 'MAX BUY' if you want to withdraw it all right away, then click 'Buy STEEM' (or your other preferred altcoin). See below screenshots.

(B) Withdraw STEEM (or any altcoin)

Go to Bittrex WALLETS and check if STEEM (or other altcoin bought) is already credited then click the orange button with arrow up symbol. Enter amount you wish to withdraw, type your message or memo (tag) and your Steemit USERNAME as 'Receive Address' if withdrawing STEEM. Click "Withdraw STEEM", enter password and code if you enabled 'Two-Factor Authentication'. Click 'Withdraw STEEM' again and your DONE! See below screenshots.

Check your Steemit wallet if you received STEEM from @bittrex.

*I NEVER withdraw BTC from exchanges due to high transaction fees.
