Hey @steemflow! It’s not Byteball in itself that is doing it but it’s the abusers of this opportunity. The ones creating these bots to scam the referral program are the ones causing havoc to Steemit. This is why I mentioned for people to contact me with their wallet address in Discord and Steem Chat :)

I don’t think everyone should have to miss out on a great opportunity because of these abusers. We just have to come up with clever ways to avoid the scammers. Anytime there is a freebie of these sorts we will always have the greedy finding a way to get more.
