Although many Steemians have already heard this news and have claimed their Bytes, I know that many more of you may not be aware. So I am here to share it with you! As I dive more into crypto I will be posting about the ones I decide to play with.

Byteball and it’s internal currency called Bytes have been around for 1.5 years. The core team has decided to do a FREE airdrop of these Bytes for the Steemit community! To learn more about Byteball you can visit their website Here!

Your Reward amount depends on your Steemit reputation:

Reputation 30 or above: $10.00 reward
Reputation 40 or above: $20.00 reward
Reputation 50 or above: $40.00 reward
Reputation 60 or above: $80.00 reward
Reputation 70 or above: $160.00 reward

You will receive this reward after you first successfully attest your Steemit Username. The rewards will be split 50/50 meaning you will get half of it immediately and the second half will be locked in a smart contract for 1 year and can be spent thereafter.

Let’s Do This!

1 . Acquire a Wallet -

In order to obtain a wallet you will need to visit this link below:

Make sure to get the single address wallet!

2 . Borrow some Byte! -

You will need 49,000 bytes sent to your wallet from a fellow Steemian that has already successfully completed the Steem attestation...that’s ME! I will receive a referral reward for sending you these needed funds to get you up and rolling. (Referral Program explained below)

You can DM me in Discord @crosheille#0986 or contact me through https://steem.chat/home to give me your wallet address. These methods will help prevent others from stealing the referral reward (by copying wallet addresses posted in the comment section of other’s posts)! It’s crazy what FREE money can cause people to do. If you have neither one of these Steem communications let me know in the comments and let’s chat!

3 . Complete Steem Attestation -

• Once the bytes are in your wallet (and no longer pending) click the “CHAT” button on the bottom right...

• Now click the “Bot Store” at the top right.

• Next scroll down and find the bot named “Steem attestation” and click it to add.

• You will then be greeted with a message from the bot explaining the process...

• You will be prompted to add the address of the wallet you want to attest by clicking the small blue circle on the bottom left. Choose the “Insert my address (small expense wallet) then press send.

• Next you’ll be directed to log in with Steem Connect to prove you are the owner of the account.

• The bot will then ask you if you want to store your username private which is in your own wallet or public in the Byteball Dag. If you choose public people will be able to send funds to your username instead of directly to your wallet.

• Finally you will be asked to pay the attestation fee by clicking the payment link. You will get a confirmation once the payment is complete and a message showing the amount of your reward!!!

Referral Program

When you refer someone by paying their attestation fee you will be rewarded with a bonus. You receive the same award as the new user. You will receive 25% of the reward immediately and the other 75% will be locked in a smart contract for one year.
