Barcelona recap

Various members of the Byteball team spent much of last week in Barcelona.

This included the Future of Blockchain event. Valerius Coppens and Luke Angell spoke about the future of blockchain (hint - it might be DAG) and the current ICO market respectively.

For several days we did many group sessions, with a strong focus on exploring ways we can increase the number of people developing on the platform, or even just proposing possible real world use cases for others to develop. Without giving too much away we might be onto something! More details to come soon.

The event was also an opportunity for some team members to meet each other for the first time in person.

Wallet v2.6.0 released

Wallet v2.6.0 has been released, all updates can be viewed on Github.

Notable updates are the new ability to hide unused and junk assets, along with additionality functionality to the Send tab (ability to quickly change display units and ability to create polls).

Foundation update

Founder and lead developer Tony Churyumoff visited Zurich last week to sign and notarize the acceptance letter for the Byteball Foundation. This paperwork cannot be modified once signed, so we need to do it correctly first time.

Incidentally Tony was in Barcelona for several days, and we discovered that in the little spare time that he likes to paraglide!

BEEB exchange

Due to lack of activity, the BEEB Blackbyte exchange will be closing October 25. All customers must withdraw their BlackBytes that are still on the bot before this date, or their Blackbytes will be lost. To withdraw use the 'w' key when paired with BEEB.

A huge thanks to Seb for all the work he did in both building and running the BEEB exchange. He has been a prominent and very well respected community member for a considerable period of time. The good news is he isnt leaving us, but due to time constraints and low trading volumes cannot justify continuing to run BEEB.

The Freebe exchange remains open for those that would like to trade Blackbytes.

Would you love to see Byteball become a major platform in the crypto world?

Then please give this article some Steem love!

Thank you

Is there a decentralized exchange that has Byteball listed?
Is there a DEX that has both Byteball and STEEM?
Did you disable the ability to have more than one of your wallet's instances on a single PC?
If I have 2 PCs am I good?
What about an android wallet?
If all I have is the light versions of your wallet and I lose my PC/cellular and have my seed stored, can I restore my wallet from it without implicitly backing it up first?
