Byteball is taking the steemit community by storm.

For good reason!

They are giving out free money!

And who doesn't love free money?!

Anyways, it goes like this:

If you verify your steemit account after downloading their wallet, they send you a nice little chunk of their byteball coin.

The amount varies depending on how how your REP is on steemit.

The higher the more you earn.

Also, if you refer other users to sign up via your link or you send them the registration fee, you will also get a nice little referral bonus.

It's not a lot of money, something in the neighborhood of $20 per person, but it is free and free money is always nice.

There is one catch however...

The catch is that half of the money is restricted for one year.

So, if you hear $120 for verifying your steemit name, you will only have roughly $60 available to you should you want to sell it.

Even then, it is not entirely clear how you get the money out just yet as the wallet has been having some major congestion issues ever since air dropping on steemit/steem.

Either way, it is a welcome breath of fresh air into a community that was desperately in need of some good news.
