Minimalism in B&W
These are my three entries for the B&W photo contest by @daveks. The theme is MINIMALISM. Please join in the fun following the link below:

The photo was taken at a reservoir. I am still not sure what it is but the group I have been with tried to suggest possible scenarios. One of the variants - it is a post in the water for a dock. Or a post to measure a level of water. In the end, it is a minimalist image with a bit of a tweak.

This has been snapped on the way home from the MotoFest in Coventry. Now that it has been converted to B&W, I am struggling to choose which version is better. Love the colour, but I also like the minimalistic look the B&W gives this composition.

Let me tell you something - I don't try to find minimalistic compositions nor am I a minimalist photographer. Although, I absolutely would love to get the results I see in the magazines. But my eyes are drawn to complexity. I have tried to convert a few images but did not find them interesting. This one - I stopped and looked at it for a while. If it makes me think - it is good!
