I shot this ancient Chinese clay soldier on a vintage auto shop shelf with a Whiz advertisement at the top. The weathered rough texture of the two go well together although they are in fact thousands of years apart. In this macro shot, the soldier looks quite imposing until you notice the text which relatively cuts him down to size.
