Feather & Twigs • BW Photo Contest • Nature

I shot this photo last week at a rocky beach on New York Bay. The seagull feather and twigs were scattered over and around rocks, brick fragments, broken glass, asphalt and a variety of other discharge from one of the world’s largest cities. The prominence of the feather in this lot made me hopeful. It seems that no matter how bad things can get nature always prevails!

Shot with my iPhone 6S Plus.
