Amazing elephants in Phan Nga National Park in Thailand 📷B&W Photo Contest
Elephants are amazing animals, they are big, they are smart, they are kind! There are only 2 major kinds of elephants: African elephant and Indian( Asian) elephant. In Thailand you can find only Indian elephants. This is my entry to this weeks bwphotocontest contest created by @daveks!
In Thailand elephant is a sacred animal and they are protected by the government! But in 19 century the population of Indian elephants in the world was 10 times higher, than now. Due to uncontrolled hunting for elephants in the 20th century, millions of elephants(mostly African elephants) were killed by greedy hunters. This photo was taken in Phang Nga National park in Thailand. I am going to post a big article about elephants soon! Stay tuned!
