There is something to be said about old architecture - maybe mixed with new? I don't know. I find newer kind of sterile in a lot of ways.

I love that photo - the monochrome effect together with the slate roof creates a sense of rain and the need to shelter. The trees up close to the house reinforce that feeling and the streetscape seems to invite you in
