Nice shots. I really like that doorknob, in particular. The lighting is really nice and your focus is spot-on. It looks like a pretty old door, judging by the wood and the wear on the knob. Anything exciting on the other side?

Nothing exciting inside except someone's empty Tim Horton cup of course. I mean, where else would one put garbage??

The door belongs to the old train I posted a bit back. The sun was shining low that day right through a small window and I shut everyone out so I could take a photo. lol. I'm bossy. It's funny, when you carry a camera people tend to give you the right of way.

Sothat's what it looks like on the inside! Haha... I love your camera authority! That could make a good psychology experiment, somehow.

I've been asked who I'm with (media company) quite a few times. I've heard you can sometimes get into sports games and concerts for free with a camera and a fake press pass!

This door knob has surely seen quite a few hands, Deb. Is it in your house? I love the shadow that it's casting on the wooden door. And what are these shiny things? :) Anthony Hincks' quote goes perfectly with the photo :)

I'd love for it to be part of my house. No, it's from the inside of the old train - you probably remember the photos from a bit ago. The shiny things are planters, they were copper and all stacked up one on top of another at the local nursery.

Wonderful shots@countrygirl! Great perspective pared with thought provoking quotes, love it!

Glad you like them @birdsinparadise. My quotes...yes, they take longer to find than editing my photos!!

Wow. This doorknob is so simple, but yet so amazing. I am daily amazed how you are improving. Really thumbs up!

Improving? Thank you so much @emmamia. That's very sweet of you.

Yes. You are taking photos more like a professional. I would never think about taking a photo of a doorknob in such way. How the light and darkness split the door vertically. The pattern on the doorknob stands out enlighted, and the shadow beneath makes the doorknob stand out.

I have so much to learn. And make myself to use the camera instead of the phone.

Thank you @emmamia.....:) That is such a great compliment. You have an "eye" too.....you certainly understood what I did so now you can copy. That's how I learn . Glad you liked the door knob. I did too and really wanted to bring it home with me :)

The compliment I gave you was well deserved. ☺ I do try to take my time while taking photos. Although looking through the camera or phone to take the best photo possible is usualy disrupted by two enthusiastic girls who would also want to give it a go. I am waiting for the time to see some new places. So I will have the option to make other photos, and not just the flowers and nature surrounding our home.

Both shots are stellar!!

Thank you very much old-guy. :)

Your choice is always smart. Your pictures blend perfectly with your chosen quotes. Good job!

That is so nice of you to say @anggreklestari. Thank you.

Beautiful Entries!Wow, you had it wide open at 1.8 for the doorknob...I love it Cools shots you created such depth! It is like you can turn the knob it pops.

Thanks so much! Actually the lens was at f/4 - the 1.8 refers to the lens I was using. It looks a bit confusing how I detailed the data. Sorry about that. Glad you liked the door knob....it was a nice door knob. I kind felt like Aunt Clara from the Bewitched series. :)

Nice, I like those black and white shapes!

The shapes are from planter urns....they were copper, I think. But the light was hitting them in all the right spots. Glad you like them.

Mind blowing shots dear@countrygirl !
