Are We Ready For a BTC Bull Run?

in #busy5 years ago

If Bitcoin has a nice run and gains attention for crypto many of our missing users may come back.

Many new users will be looking at cryptocurrency projects.

Will they come play our games?

I think the blogging platforms are the easiest point of entry for mainstream users and it gives them a place to learn, read, practice and understand.

Which Apps have geared themselves to be mainstream friendly?

Will they market? Have a plan for onboarding?

Do we have a plan for curating or at least acknowledging a new set of end-users?

Let me know where you see efforts and plans around Marketing or Promotion... And apps that are gearing up to help onboard new users!

Once those users are onboard, they may play the games, gamble, etc. We have to allow them to find us first.

I'm just having a little wave of FOMO.

Are we ready?

@whatsup,
BTC is outdated, so I need STEEM rise and hit $300 before end of 2020!

Cheers~

lol, that seems a little dramatic

$200 move and the FOMO is here 😂

Someone told me 250k top of next cycle 👀

I’ll say this, the recent bump has got my friends talking about it a bit. These same assholes have been ridiculing me all the way down. There is a bit of a buzz right now. Feels like it’s a bit different than the past year.

240-300k easy

Nah Im not ready

I agree that blogging platforms are among the easiest. But I don't see any explosion in growth until efforts are focused on bringing preexisting business structures in. I have begun examining some of the structures that could be profitable for programmers to target. Hopefully some of them will find the ideas I have/will be writing usable, or come up with some variations.

There are markets with large velocities of cash that could benefit from what Steem can do.

Excellent to hear you are working on this! :) We need both.

End users will bring in business. Good businesses with marketing teams and onboarding plans will bring on users.

BTC to 1 Million by 2020 or I’ll eat my 🌯🤣

Hello,
mainstream friendly, that's the point!
I think there are 2 apps now which are,
Partiko and Appics.
If @theycallmedan can realize his plan for create something on the same level as DLive, we definitely are.
Really hope he will find some Devs for it.
Have a great day

I think Steem is light years ahead of where it was during the last bull run (in terms of readiness for new users). However, there is clearly a long road ahead and a lot that needs to be worked on, updated and fixed!

I think @partiko, @steemhunt and @actifit are some of my top choices as far as onboarding and enticing new users as the 3 of them bring promises of earning crypto off the bat and can actually deliver on those promises.

All 3 of those also have their own methods for account creation, which is a big deal, of course.

One of the main issues I see with Steem is information overload and the lack of one voice who can kind of tame it all down and make it accessible to the new user who may not even be familiar with blockchain at all. Steemit, Inc. should fill that role IMO, but I don’t think they will ever get their act together enough to do so. Hopefully DApps such as the 3 I mentioned will position themselves to teach users about their platform in a digestible way and then users can migrate slowly from one dapp to the next and pick up all the necessary information as they go.

They can't play that role in my opinion, because it would slant people to SteemIt, Inc and also while I think they are good people with good intentions. They use too many words, and not enough practical advice.

Agree 100%
