Crypto Soon To Be Being Regulated In Australia? | 澳洲政府要管制加密货币？

The other day @ace108 wrote a post in regards to how Singapore will not regulate cryptocurrency which reminded me I read an article in the paper recently. I normally don't wrote anything about crypto related articles but this may be of some interested for some of my Australian followers and maybe to some of you who may be also interested what the Australian government has planned for us.

前幾天, 我看見 @ace108 一篇文章說新加坡不會管制加密货币。我其實當天也看在澳洲一篇新聞就是說我們政府想要看管加密货币和比特幣。我平常很少寫關於這類的文章但我覺得應該會有一些澳洲的讀者或其他國家的會有興趣看我們的政府有什麼想法。

The Australian government is trying to regulate Bitcoin & other cryptocurrency. The parliament were expected to vote on a bill to strengthen the nation's anti-money laundering laws this week . But as of today, I have still yet to see any new updates on this topic

其實澳洲政府想管制比特幣和加密货币很多年但都沒有什麼新的消息。但這個星期在報紙上看到政府想在這個星期投票通過一條新規定來打壓洗黑錢的行為。但到今天為止，我還沒有看見有什麼新的消息。

So what does this mean for Australians if this passes through parliament? It means that if we use exchanges like Independant Reserve (IR) and BTC markets would need to be registered. At the moment, IR does need some sort of ID when you register but I believe when the bill passes, people using these services will need to provide more id verification.

如果政府有新規定對澳洲人有加密货币和比特幣的人有什麼改變？就是要用 Independant Reserve (IR) 或 BTC Markets 之類當地的公司換成現金要給登記你的資料。現在如果我們要用這些服務，我們只需要給一點普通的資料就行但如果新規定通過之後，有機會我們要給的資料要更多和要很嚴格來開戶口的。

I guess we will wait to see what the outcome will be ...
