Signs of low emotional intelligence

When in 1964 the concept of emotional intelligence first appeared in the work of Michael Beldock, for many things everything fell into place: finally there was a missing link in understanding success. That's why people with average IQ became billionaires, created an international business, were great leaders. And that's why a high intellect, seemingly, guaranteed a bright future, in fact, was not always its invariable attribute.

Psychologists in our time have gone even further: now they believe that it is emotional intelligence that is the most valuable skill for any person. This is only partly true, because there are professions where cognitive development is decisive. But if we talk about happiness in general and about the ability to communicate with people, then there is no equal to emotional intelligence.

It affects how we manage our behavior, solve problems in society, make decisions, achieve our goals.
