Steemhunt Is Looking For Medium Writers

@steemhunt is at it again. For those who are not paying attention, this application is on fire. Their intent is to reach far outside the boundaries of the Steem ecosystem to draw attention. Over the past couple of weeks I detailed a couple of things they are doing to achieve this end.

Yesterday, they put out a call to all Steemians to assist in the effort of their "outreach" program. For doing this, one will earn 5,000 Hunt per week.

The @steemhunt team is looking for writers on Medium to promote Steemhunt on that site. This can be either directly or indirectly depending upon the post put up. The idea is to reach a different audience to attract users to the Steemhunt ecosystem.

We’re seeking Medium writers first. If you run an active Medium blog and are interested in featuring Steemhunt in your article, please apply to our new community role - Steemhunt Promoter - Medium.

If you have a blog on Medium, I would suggest you serious look into writing an article per week about Steemhunt. For this, you will earn 5,000 Hunt tokens plus help expand the reach of this active Steem based application.

@steemhunt is already very successful in getting views from outside. According to their numbers, they have thousands of daily visitors who are not Steemians. This application already surpassed the traditional site, Producthunt, in a short period of time. Since joining Steem, I found the development team to be rather creative, innovative, and consistently pushing forward.

Therefore, of all the applications on the Steem blockchain to promote, this is a good one. Individuals can feel certain there will be regular updates and more content provided to create posts on an on-going basis.

The idea is to get Medium writers committed on a monthly basis. The initial sign up period is one month, at which time the efforts will be reviewed. If acceptable, the commitment will be for another month.

One caveat, if a post is not made in two weeks, the agreement is cancelled. Of course, one article a week is not an excessive amount to ask from anyone.

The sign up process is rather simple. One of the easiest ways is to use the Google form I showed here. It has a simple fill of 5 pieces of information that take a few seconds to complete.

The best part about this is that, if successful, they will extend the program out to promoters on other platforms like YouTube, Reddit, and other news publications. Hence, the initial sign ups are going to pave the way for further expansion.

I do not know how many members are included in the @steemhunt team along with @project7, but I love what they are doing. Whoever is involved seems to burn the candle at both ends because there are always new ideas coming from these folks. As a believer in the applications being the future of Steem, it provides me with even more optimism when I see development teams like this churning out updates and new programs.

I know @steemmonsters gets a lot of recognition for what they did and deservedly so. However, I believe the @steemhunt team is right on their heels in terms of the progress made. This team is intent on creating an application that holds appeal across the entire Internet, not just Steem.

It is fun to watch the moves they are making.
