Travel at work, Fun? or really not at all?
You get cool accommodation, but have no time (or energy) to enjoy it.

You might think that work-travel is like what you see onTV. Like visiting the beaches after work or taking pictures of beautiful scenery while being on a train. Reallety ;what actually happens is that you will wake up at 2or 3 am in the morning and drive 45 minutes to airport to get the first flight because you have a shift at 07.00


Now you finished 8-15h work day; why not use it for sightseeing ? Sounds like a perfect plan, right?? UNTIL you look around to realize your office is in an industrial estate with almost nothing to see. So now What ??... probably just go to train station/back to hotel and have coffee and wait for 3 hours before taking the train leaving at 8 pm, or just get to bed.
wuppsy, and by the way, did i tell you that it takes 2 hours from this train station to the nearest station to your house ? And when you hit your all time low, guess what??? You realize that you have to do this again the next day. Surpriiiise ;)

    The reality of work/travel is it is no fun. I have heard people say that it must be wonderful to be a flight attendant or work on a cruise ship travelling the world. It is only fun if you are the passenger!

    true that, or when peeps tell me -youRR soo lucky to be staying at hotel' me-

    naa not so much, think of having a 'unknown' strolling throw your stuff every day?, you cant deside what to have for dinner, AS ya already done them dinners 7days on a row.. OR, neiboure ---slamming-- da walls at god knows, what hours.. he he aww then we have, no fridge, cubbert EVERYTHING needs to ready eat ;if ya take it to the room.... and everything after a bit smells steril kind of.. LOL aww whee its sleep in morning? & the fab maids knocks at your door OR vaccums outside.. yeah ' I SURE LOVE HOTELS < sarcasem drippin
