There are plenty of things that are essential, money happens to be one of them. The love of money, the love of obtaining money and the love of having money are wonderful things, and are healthy to thrive in life.
On the other hand, being flat out obsessed with money is a bad thing. Utilize your skills and time to get that money which propels you forward and expands your horizons in unimaginable ways. Do not get consumed with the pure act of getting more for the fact of getting more. Money is not the only answer, but it does make a difference, be sensible and do what needs to get done.
