Unplug once in a while!

The world is filled these days with smart phones, iPads, Androids, voice activated assistants, constant notifications from non-essential things that sit on top of our minds as if they truly fucking matter.

The truth is that all of this connectivity is tearing us all apart as people and it is setting us back even though technology is booming. Nobody needs a toaster to connect to the internet and a TV monitor in the refrigerator door, it is all just getting out of hand, and a lot of the population seems to be accepting it with open arms.

Now I do see a plus to some of this stuff, but within reason and not allowing it to control who you are and what you are about. The mere act of unplugging and going offline is the new luxury. There will be a sense of calm and ease that rushes over you when your doorbell and your Amazon deliveries aren’t constantly texting you and sending you alerts.
