robots small enough to enter living cells!!

in #busy6 years ago

Researchers developed a nanoparticle, which is the tiniest engine or a robot.
University of Cambridge website gives the information about that. This nanorobot can sense its surrounding environment and releases a great power compared to its size. This thing can enter in our cells, that much tiny invention. This can be used in disease treatment in near feature. We hope.

Researchers at Cambridge University developed this tiniest nanoparticle which uses light to power itself.

Professor Jeremy Baumberg from the Cavendish Laboratory, who led the research, has named the devices ‘ANTs’, or actuating nano-transducers. “Like real ants, they produce large forces for their weight. The challenge we now face is how to control that force for nano-machinery applications.”
