now you see the idea of pages views is important votes can be automated and even replies from ai bots are getting better LOL, but actual page views like 20 secs before you move on meaning at least you saw a picture for can have more emotional value than a vote. Like it or not page views is how Alexa(a Mr. Bezos company) determines your overall ranking which you might want to consider because, when the value of our work to the outside world is shared it can be judged and either destroy it's value like collateral damage or bring us fame and fortune, i prefer the latter.

which just confirms what i already knew there (and i think the reason why they removed the eye too), took them long enough to remove the downvote button, and i stlil dont understand why they dont have a block button on the ui either, if only for UI, i mean trolls be trolling and some scriptkiddies will even think they're super fancybears for knowing how to broadcast a negative vote "while there's not even a button" but the overall psychology will lead to less animosity and in the end the only way would be an overhaul, which means a total re-streaming of the chain in consensus of all the witnesses (so they'd have to kick nazicleaners and the downvote-league out first) or a split, which will happen anyway over time like this.
for some reason i have the idea the downvote league would have a hard time setting up their own steemchain by themselves though, their obsession with enlightened content leads me to believe they're not really the practical coding mindset :)
