Relaxing at the "Old Swan" Pub Restaurant
Yesterday @ezzy and I went for a long walk to stretch our legs and we ended up at Notting Hill Gate high street. We came across a Victorian-style pub called “Old Swan”.
The "Old Swan" is a typical historical English pub with leather seats and wooden tables. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Two massive televisions hang up on the walls opposite sides for customers to enjoy some football games.
There is a great selection of beer and gins at the bar, as well as cocktails. You will also find typical pub food here, such as Fish & Chips, Pies and Steaks. We didn’t try the food this time but from other tables, it looked like good sized portions and prices are reasonable too. Perhaps we will try it next time round.
Due to its central location, the "Old Swan" attracts a lot of tourists. This is no doubt a good place to stop after a day of sightseeing to refuel and unwind, lol.

I'm pretty sure I had Fish and Chips at the Old Swan back in 2011.
I was over for work, but went downtown for a couple of days to watch the Royal Wedding.
Cool, did you like the food there?
As you would expect, it's a bit of a blur now.
Because the food doesn't stand out in my mind, I'll go with ... "It was good, but not great."
I do remember having a great time at Mahiki and Kanaloa.

I'll take a shot of jack daniels and an order of fish & chips as well @rea. Looks like this place was very laid back/ chill with the amenities to make you feel as if you were home. From what I read, this is your first time visiting so I'm wondering how was the food and the drinks? Lmao thanks for sharing
