Enjoying Some Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine at "Viet Eat"

I was meeting my friend in Central London last week and came across a lovely Vietnamese restaurant called “Viet Eat” which I would like to share with you all.

“Viet Eat” is situated in Holborn High Street, just a few minutes walk from the tube station. The restaurant is relatively small with wooden chairs and benches, making for quite a friendly and casual setting.

The menu offers up a great selection of authentic Vietnamese food, ranging from baguettes, pho, salads and stews. Although the specialities served here are most certainly the pho and soups. A lunch / dinner set menu which includes two courses, are also an option with very reasonable prices too.

My friend and I went for a quick lunch. The starter we went for the Spring Crispy Pork and Crab Roll with Fish Sauce, absolutely fantastic! My main dish, Charcoal Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Vermicelli, was authentic and tasty. My friend opted for the BBQ Honey Pork with Rice, which was excellent as well!

On a slight downside for me, was that our lemonade drinks were a little too sweet for my liking. But overall, a great little place for an authentic experience of Vietnamese food. I would come back if I am ever around the area again.
