Coping With the Summer Heat in London
The recent climate change in Europe has been weird and can just be summed up in one word: HOT!!! And in these past two days in London, the unexpected heat wave drove us insane and yesterday the temperature went up to almost 40 degrees!! In a country where the majority of us have no air conditioning, this was pretty much like hell!
The London underground lines is a spreading mass of tunnels below the city and in the summer months it can feel like you are travelling through hell! According to official figures, the temperature inside the tube was over 30 degrees!
TFL (Transport of London) warned passengers to be aware and carry water with them at all times! A couple of public messages to the commuters did make me smile, lol! Loving it, true British sense of humor!!

We are currently in winter and while everybody is moaning about the cold I am thankful - I am having hotflashes so love winter. Never liked summer and now even less. I hate that warm, sweaty feeling .... nope thank you, give me spring or winter

I am from South Africa - it gets hot and cold but not as cold as in London
In winter, most of the time London is close to 0 temperature. :)
