CiTy PlanNing (part -1-- introduction)

We always admire beautiful cities, their beautification and design but did we ever think what is their secret behind these beautifications?? It's all about planning and implementation of correct design at suitable places. Right now maxium cities of the world renovating themselves hiring landscape designers , urban planners and architects with best design proposal. World is growing so fast and urbanization is changing rapidly as well as choice of people are changing.

Now question is how it's changing.... If you notice closely you can see planners and architects are working hard in each point of urbanspaces. Right now, Every city is developing economically as well as creating own identity of city planning. Urban planning is vast process but here i am gonna describe only cityscape and landscape which are 2 major parts of urban planning. Designers are concentrating on using urban elements , instruments at each point of city planning.

What is Urban Planning? Well , shortly answer is planning places including insfrastructures , landscape, systems of traffic, redevelopment areas with green spaces all are Urban Planning. One of the major element of cityscape and landscape is creating green spaces and for that total built area counts. Every element, every matters , every opinion count.. Creating green spaces , recreational spaces , planning of traffic system, infrastructure and plan of land divisions all are important for developing a city.

I can give you some simple examples...When we go to park what we actually want or expect?? A place where family, friends can go without hesitation and can spend beautiful quality time with safety....Right!!!!! What we want is a clean place for sitting, gossiping, children's play spaces, cycleling space and many more activities.....A place for enjoying beautiful evening or a day..Now, for planning a park what architects and planners actually think?? As an architect from my perspective, first priority is safety of people and thinking about general people before design what can be their need , their expectation....Sitting arrangements, plantation, green spaces, children-zone , waterbody, sculptures, pathways and pedistrian, walkway, lighting of total space, garbage system, electrification, built-spaces, built form and structures all are considered as design elements and instruments of urban design and planning...
