Wallet-friendly eatery in the neighbourhood

One of the chores that marks Wednesday special than other weekdays is to pick my boy up from school.

週三比其他平日特別的事是我去接放學。

I call it a day earlier every Wednesday that has school but cannot leave my stomach empty and rumbling. My wife and I popped down to a wallet-friendly restaurant in the neighbourhood with some Asian and western dishes up for sale.

我星期三會早走，但總不能讓我的肚空空。我到了附近的一家餐廳，賣一些亞洲和西式菜，價格可以。

A salad to start the meal. Imported salad greens with a drizzle of olive oil.

入口的沙律菜佩一些橄欖油。

A seafood risotto cooked in Tom yum paste. An Asian twist adds much innovation to the dish. Rice soaked well in the sauce, hence Tom-yum-flavoured. Frozen seafood but was pan-fried and seasoned right.

泰式意大利燴飯。亞洲風味為這道菜帶來創新。米粒有冬蔭香味。海鮮煎和調味得好。

A fish burger with chips. Chips and fish fillet were crispy and freshly deep-fried. Fillet was juicy but lacked a flaky texture. A highlight was the tartar sauce. :-) Barely ok as a whole.

魚漢堡。薯條和魚片酥脆。魚多汁，但缺乏片狀質地。亮點那塔塔醬。 :-)

It’s still worth a visit every now and then, prices are friendly and foods are ok overall.

值得久不久去一次。價格很友善，食物總體算可以。
