One of the brightest mind in modern day science is gone. Stephen William Hawking passed away earlier this day 14 March 2018 at age 76. The former Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge became internationally famous from the publication of his book; "A Brief History of Time".As a "cosmotologist", he had sought to explain life complex question of time and space which in 1988 became one of the Best Selling Books with Millions sold which also stayed on Sunday Times Best Sellers in the United State.

Professor Hawking ranges of studies and works include; Origin of the Universe itself, Mysteries of space and time travel. Though at just age 21, he was diagnosed with a terrible disease which confined him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. But instead of being discouraged, the same disease launched him into working harder at the expenses of his marriages; two of it collapsed.

A worst case scenario was that he could only speak through a voice synthesizer and make motions to communicate by moving his eyebrows as a result of his critical health condition. ALS- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a form of motor neuron disease which attacks his nerves that controls voluntary movement, it rendered him physically/bodily effective- But he was still with a very sound mind!

He was a great man who contributed so much to science. Rest on Sir.

A true icon who made science accessible to the common citizens...

He fought for both his life and science. He would be sorely missed by the society and particularly the science community.
