Hundreds of floral exhibits turned the Seaview Park into a kaleidoscope of splendid colours on Saturday evening as the annual flower show of the Horticultural Society of Pakistan (HSP) got under way.
Love of flowers is the essence of life.
The flowers reflect natural beauty and leave indelible marks of aesthetic delight and creative charm on human mind. The charming beauty of colourful flowers is both refreshing and a blissful joy of life.
Keeping in view a Flower Exhibition was opened on Saturday evening at DHA Seaview Public Park.
The event people in the city look forward to the whole year as there is hardly any other activity dedicated to flowers, the HSP show this year is the first in more than six decades to be held without the presence of Abdul Karim Khan, rightly recognised as ‘Baba-i- Baghbani’, or the father of gardening. Founder of the HSP, its allied bodies and many horticultural initiatives, Mr Khan passed away last year.
The venue of the show was presenting an exquisite view of colour and beauty with exotic fragrance of multi coloured seasonal flowers adding to the ambience of the scene. Horticulture Society of Pakistan has organised the splendid floral show in collaboration with DHA and CBC.
Important features of the exhibition included a garden designed for people with special needs, floral exhibits made with the help of trash and broken pots, orchid varieties, blooming cacti and aesthetically designed arrangements set up with lightning effects by specialised horticultural groups.
The people visiting the venue are basking in blissful joy and pleasure.
The entire DHA including its parks, clubs, educational institutions, mosques and DHA Head Office present a dazzling and exhilarating scene with sprouting fragrance and colour in the environment

When was this flower Show, might be older than a week before HHG 8 announced. Otherwise I feel u could make few more colorful photos to post here as I am sure that show might had been more awesome to capture much more colorful photos.
