I must admit, this has been fun, discovering the beauty in my country that i never knew we had. This is the third series of Places to visit in Nigeria. This post was inspired by @surfyogi.. He wanted to know the beautiful places to visit when he comes to Nigeria, so i decided to write about it here. I see a lot of Travel bloggers and Tourists on Steemit sharing beautiful pictures of places they have visited and i couldn't help but to appreciate the beauty in my own country to. So just in case you are a tourist, here are few of the many beautiful places you can visit in Nigeria. There are hundreds of Tourist places in Nigeria and i have been posting in series. OKOMU NATIONAL PARK

The Okomu National Park, formerly the Okomu Wildlife Sanctuary, is a forest block within the 1,082 km² Okomu Forest Reserve in the Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo State in Nigeria. Okomu National Park houses trees like kapok, celtis zenteri, animals like civet cat, Mona monkey and Maxwell's duike. The Okomu national park is home to some of the endangered species in Nigeria. The poor animals are the last hope for the continuation of their species. Come in today to share in their struggle and ensure their continuity by sharing their story. It is a natural habitat.

IKOGOSI WARM SPRINGS

The Ikogosi Warm Springs is a tourist attraction located at Ikogosi, a town in Ekiti State, Southwestern Nigeria. There is also a cold spring which meets the warm spring at a confluence, each maintaining its thermal properties. These attributes make the spring a tourist attraction in Nigeria. Research suggested that the warm spring has a temperature of about 70oC at the source and 37oC at the confluence. There is a resort where, guests get to enjoy great amenities such as: a restaurant that offers complimentary breakfasts, Bar/Lounge, excellent security, regular power supply, categorised outdoor pool, gym with fitness equipment, adequate parking space plus conference and banquet halls.

IDANRE HILLS

The Idanre Hill, or Oke Idanre is located in Idanre town in Ondo State of southwestern Nigeria. The hill of Idanre is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Nigeria. It includes such cultural sites as "Owa's Palace, Shrines, Old Court, Belfry, Agbooogun footprint, thunder water (Omi Apaara) and burial mounds and grounds" It resides 3000 ft above sea level and houses a unique ecosystem upon which the cultural landscape has integrated. On getting to the entrance of the hill you will see a great tree at the entrance of the ancient city of Idanre called the IRAYE TREE, then you can now get prepared to take the steps to the great city beyond the hills of Idanre.

OWU WATERFALLS

This was discovered in 1976 in Isin local Government., Ekiti State. Owu waterfall is the highest and most spectacular natural waterfall in West Africa. With its Ambience, cool environs and lush tributes to nature, everyone is invited for a dip.

JOS WILDLIFE PARK

Jos wildlife park is one of the largest man made zoological gardens in the country and is home to a variety of animals ranging from monkeys, elephants, lions. The variety of wildlife and closeness to nature is one of the many reasons why tourists come from far and wide to visit. Everybody is welcome
The Jos Wildlife Park features rare and exotic collection of wild animals, reptiles, and birds; it was established in 1972 and extends into the pine forest and the Vongnifwel Hill. There are picnic centres within the park and a history museum that tells the story of the park and state.
