Black Conservative at Anti-Gun Rally
A conservative fella talking to liberals at a Portland anti-gun rally.
Being an anarchist, it affords me an analysis of American politics that's beyond the right lift paradigm.
I think it's interesting how both conservatives and liberals are both equally okay with government using violence and coercion as long as it's used against their political enemies at the opposite end of that spectrum.
Like for instance, in conservative Internet forums and social networks I constantly see people talking about running protesters over or cheer leading for the police to beat leftist protesters. Conservatives seem to also be okay with overt police mistreatment of citizens. I think it has something to do with the logical fallacies appeal tradition and Appeal to authority these are so heavily droned on about in conservative dominated media outlets like a metronome of conformity.
On the opposite side of that spectrum, I see leftist arguing the virtue of "punching Nazis". Nobody's really against punching Nazis… In fact my grandfather Dudley got to kill Nazis in World War II......... I admire him for that fact!
The big problem is… People on the left are starting to lose the understanding of What the word Nazi even means.
At this point the word Nazi's thrown around so much that it's starting to lose it's meaning.
As far as they're concerned on the left............ anyone to the right of Karl Marx is a Nazi!

It really bugs me the use of fascist and nazi as if they were a common insult. The problem is, all Americans know about fascism is what they see on TV, there is not much education on it except for "we beat those guys some time ago." The dangers of fascism are not to be underestimated and you can't consider any conservative a fascist. You risk provoking what is happening know, a misuse of the word and a normalization of fascism as "anyone on the right, regardless."
Can't say as I disagree with any of what you just said. I just got to the point in steemit where I'm getting a fair amount of comments from actual real people! I'm so happy to see you here! The robotic nice post, great blog, cool video stuff was really starting to get on my nerves man! When I think of contemporary 21st-century fascism I think of it as the marriage of corporations to government. Like any corporation that relies so heavily on government subsidies that they couldn't compete in the market without it..... I think of that as a fetishistic relationship. Like the prison industrial complex for instance.
Absolutely, and such a marriage eventually creates a monopoly, which destroys anyone's chance at success it the capitalistic sense. There is no longer free market, every big company starts to eat other big companies (like Bayer buying Monsanto) and we, everyone who is not a part of that club get screwed over and over again. At this rate in the near future we will end up in a corporatist world where we are all ruled over by Amazon: distributor, defense contractor and pharmaceutical, soon-to-be bank after the merger with HSBC.

Most of what left and right statists have to say is regurgitated talking points they heard from the talking heads in their preferred propaganda outlet. I use to watch liberal and conservative you tubers just to expose myself to other POV, but I’ve recently begun to find it unbearable to listen to them. Most of their content is gossipy bullshit he said she said and outrage porn. Now I listen to only a handful of You-tubers and podcasters all of whom have a libertarian or constitutionalist leaning.
