You just nailed it @taskmaster4450. Well life is all about choice. You don't let anyone decide for you. @dlive is free to join any blockchain that will suit its business. But the idea of leaving STEEM is actually not a good one.

Yes it is about choice. And I dont fault the choice that team made. As I said, a money grab is not a bad thing, most of us do it when given a chance.
The unfortunate part is they claim to be doing it for the users when clearly there are few advantages to Lino over STEEM.
Maybe it will work out for them but at this point, does someone want Lino or STEEM?
