WhatsApp even gives an opportunity to delete the message sent in an hour.

The deadline to delete the deleted messaging message has increased the popular messaging app WhatsApp.
Users will get up to about 1 hour from now, instead of 7 minutes to delete after sending the message.
The facility is currently available only in the latest versions of iOS operating system (2.18.31).
