Why do #ClickbaitsMatter?

I am pretty sure that you have been lured a million times before into watching a video, reading an article, or buying a magazine just for that front picture or title that made you so curious to see more about it, but at the end you realize that it was only one crafty way to get you to buy or click on that link and waste your time or money on that appealing subject.
These clickbaits have and still are making the living of many slick creators and authors, who utilize our natural love of discovery into making creative titles and getting more money and fame out of this.
Many people get angry towards such behaviors, however, they seldom acknowledge that what led to outspread of clickbaits was initially their strong urges to know these stupid informations is this eagerness which is ingrained in human beings and which can generate millions of dollars nowadays just through a click.
