in busy •  7 months ago

This guys have been here since long time and i have been testing this frontend from time to time. At this point i feel the experience is good enough for you guys to check.

It looks "Facebook" a like, so has fresh and trendy design. But lets see at options of the platform vs most popular Steemit.com one.

Wallet

Nice options with price charts and all received and sent transactions.

Cool Voting Slider

Get Busy to Vote on You!

Okay and this is the best thing, but i left it for the end so only people who really read my posts will notice this magic trick. If you will use Busy.org to post your content and as one of 5 tags use "busy" their bot will follow you and often vote on your content with nice power. It differs between users, their followers and some luck but pretty much for using the platform you are getting a boost.

Anything More ?

Yes their options are massive but this ones are the main i wanted to speak about. Feel free to get on https://busy.org and check yourself how it works and what it can offer.

As a software, busy.org is so much better than shiteet, but it comes at a cost.

Even governments tax profits and not income, but all these new STEEM based creatures tax income itself, which is either pathetic or paid for, or both.

·

Pretty sweet! 😉

·

As a matter of fact man! Thanks for pointing that out.. ✌

·

Oh, that is a pretty nice feature that I had not even noticed before you pointed it out! Definitely going to see less spam by sorting by reputation.

·

Great to see all the developments! :)

·

I can see it on steemit.com too .. .is this a new feature here?

Wow nice, I didn't even know about the existence of busy.org. Will check it out!

·

each day comes new knowledge, google brought me to steemit now am heading to busy through steemit

·

Followed and up-voted.. and re-steemed .. well worth it.. thx

How do we divide our power for like ? or do we have such option in busy.org ? I lately started using busy.org and definitely its going to get a lot of attraction as we move forward . Easy to use and comprehensive outlook (some of them looks similar to fb or reddit , these are added advantages).

Busy.org is really awesome! Also, you can use the busy tag to get upvotes from busy.org when you write a good post.

They still need to implement a night mode though. That's one of the features from the original steemit.com blog I'm still missing

Kingscrown, perpetuating the model of sub par posting. This is a whale we should all not look up to.

I like the design of busy.org. My main issue right now is trust into the steemconnect-api. If i could just use my post key, this would be a wonderful alternate, but with my active key in the wrong hands, anything can be done. Maybe someone can bring up her or his thoughts on this subject?!

·

I totally understand why you might be worried about this, especially with so many phishing attempts and sketchy websites that have been showing up lately. Still, Steemconnect is generally considered a trusted app by most people on the Steem blockchain, but I guess it all boils down to having to choose whether or not to trust it for yourself.

·
·

I might try a workaround with a second account. But thank you for your answer, time will tell what i'm going to do :D

·
·
·

That's a nice workaround. You could potentially also send your funds to a new account, then delegate them back to your account. That way it will not be the end of the world if you get hacked on your main account.

How much of the payout goes to busy from your own content if you use it?

·

0%

·
·

Oh wow, I thought there would be some kind of fees. Thank you!

·
·
·

yep this guys do it for free

·
·
·
·

So I took your advice and tried using busy.org for a couple of days. It's great all around! Thanks!!

·
·
·
·

How long will it be free though? All that hosting and development costs $$$s

·
·

That is awesome! Busy is looking really good!

·
·

Greetings @fabien. The platform you have created is impressive... most impressive. I sent my latest transmission from there.

Yeah I do like it just solely for the fact that you can save drafts! :)

I have used busy since it was a being tested beta. I remember the very first day of encouraging user to use "busy" tag. People who is not aware that time is questioning me why I used #busy since my post is not ralated to busy.org topic. I also got some flag from those user's for spamming #busy. Perhaps now they have knowledge and I am sure they use #busy on there post. I keep monitoring there use of tag and just laugh at them. My adviced read often.

·

I think most people that post from busy.org uses the tag #busy these days, so I don't think you will have any problems with flaggers anymore. I for one use it on most of my posts and have never had a problem like that.

@fabien can you explain to me please how it's possible that it's safe to use steemconnect with our private keys? Thanks!

That's the first time I've heard "facebook" and "trendy" used in the same sentence in a while :)

I'll have to check Busy out again. It's been a while and the last time I tried it I don't think you could use any html which was a turnoff for me.

·

do you know more popular social site now ? :) but i get what u are saying!

same here, i also used busy.org/ the site is good and you can immediately check all updates in your steemit account. the notification also is quick.

ok friend

Lets not forget the Dtube Player which allows users to watch Dtube video's without having to open another tab, so it's just like how you would watch an embedded youtube video.

·

It works like this? Sweet. Tip!

·

Hi @tuckerjtruman! You have received 0.1 SBD tip from @cardboard!

You can now delegate SP / invest in @tipU for daily profit:) Click here to learn more :)

I have already moved to busy. I even forked busy code on github to build our own Steem based application.

I am happy to see, read and enjoy your post amazingly innovative. Thanks for sharing.

thanks for the friend information

What sort of reward percentage do they take?

·

Busy don't take beneficiaries rewards

·
·

Awesome!

I am a bit hesitant to use third party websites with my token :/

I was introduced to busy almost 2 months back and I've to say I'm totally glued onto it. It's a much sorted extension of steemit.com and works like a charm on phone screens too.

Notifications is the main reason I wanted something transparent and the search definitely ends here. About the bot upvoting. The chances and amount is quite low but then no harm trying. I use busy as one of my tags and 1/3 posts do get upvote from the bot.

One thing you may not be aware of is that busy takes a small share of your posting and curation rewards as operating costs; something steemit need not do.

·

This is wrong, Busy don't take reward from author.

·
·

Forget where that came from exactly. Thought busy would need some crypto flow to keep the lights on. It seemed to make sense like small miner transfer fees do. My apologies if that understanding was incorrect.

·
·
·

they are i think the only one that takes no fees

·
·
·
·

Any idea how the cost of operation is handled, @kingsmind?

Need my SCT which doesn't work with busy currently 🤔 I switch between busy.org and steemit.com using the steem-plus browser extension. This way I get the best of both worlds!

I've been using it off and on since I joined Steemit about two weeks ago. My favorite feature is the notifications. Much easier to see who followed you. Also, is it just me or does it seem slower when commenting and upvoting?

The design is gorgeous and really lovely
You offer the best information to us

@kingscrown I hope to shout that English is NOT your first language and you really are from the moon, cuz that was written terribly! You may want to consider an editor.

·

Even if it's not written perfectly, it's still understandable. If English isn't his first language, I don't think it's too big a deal!

Yaaaaaaayyyyy wow I'm so happy I'm on the right part. I use busy.org everytime I wanna post.

They have really beautiful and amazing features

Ya mehn. #dancing

good post

Cool cool! Looks like Busy is stepping up their game!
We need some more flashyness and creativeness on the design UI of our Steem platforms!

Hey! I would like to try it out and see if I get hit with that Busy upvote too!! 😜👍

Thanks for the tip @kingscrown !

Wow...i didn't know about the existence of busy.org
I'll surely check it out. Beautiful design and working environment BTW 😍

Your information is very important @ kingscrown I really support you

Sounds like a cool deal my friend. I'm going to slide over to the site and check them out. Thanks for the inside tip.

Hi !!!!! Nice to meet you.

I moved to busy a long time ago (four weeks? :) and I love it.

The only two features I miss and would make me even more happy using Busy is voting for witnesses and an internal market to convert SBD to Steem.

Maybe this would be a useful Utopian contribution :)

I do agree. Busy is more friendly designed for newbies.

I did due to esteem app not working for me on my mobile and I must say that I'm impressed. I may give the desktop version a go too.

Wow this front-end looks far more ideal than the current steemit.com one. Any ideas on why these features haven't been adopted over here? Thanks for the useful info! Gonna try using it now - Just like the others though, I'm a little worried about security but the benefits outweigh the con.

edit: Can't figure out how to sign in :(

Just followed you. One of the main reasons is that I saw you flagging down spammers actively. Good to see!

Well liked it for some time :)

and yeah like the part where busy bot upvotes post :)

Alright, you've convinced me, I'm gonna check it out in a second. It really does look a lot more advanced.

I love busy.org! I still use steemit.com some, but lately I find myself on busy :)

·

I'm definitely going to consider doing this. Another suggestion, if we want to become the new Facebook, why not use "like" and "unlike" instead of upvote and downvote? Just a question, not necessarily something to be really concerned with; more of a gramatical thing.
