After a nap, we went to Siam Center and MBK, นอนพัก แล้วเราก็ไปสยามเซ็นเตอร์ และมาบุญครอง

After a slow day at the snake farm in Bangkok and a short nap in public library, we took the university bus to Siam Center. This was a nice contrast to all the previous tours of temples and river scenery. The sight and sounds of traffic and people around this big shopping center could be overwhelming to nature-loving people.

My Steemit friends seemed to have got over their illness and were more energised for a waking tour to MBK shopping center and Tokyu. We followed the path on skywalk way which is connected to skytrains. The wide court connects Siam Center, MBK, Siam Discovery and, Bangkok Art and Culture Center including access to skytrain. This is where most tourists would take photos of the passing trains overhead with buildings and road traffic below.

We were getting hungry, especially @gamer00 hardly had any food all day long while @daabi2006 had one rice soup! So, we were in no mood to do window shopping in MBK; I led them to Tokyu shopping mall for dinner. I always like medium size shopping mall where it is easier to find things and the staff tends to be friendly and helpful. The small food court adjacent to the super-market section , on the fourth floor, has reasonably priced street food. More expensive restaurants could be found on the fifth floor. From Tokyu, you could easily enter MBK as these two buildings are connected together.

After very simple and light dinner for my friends’ weak stomach, I took them to visit some big camera shops inside the MBK. I am always amazed by the collections of heavy lenses and big cameras displayed in these windows. As we didn’t have enough time, I didn’t take @daabi2006 to those little shops with almost hundred choices of drones! If I did take them there, we would probably get back to the hotel by midnight! And what’s more, there are several shops selling nice second-hand cameras and lenses too. That would take us back to the hotel early in the morning. So, they’ll probably be coming back to buy new cameras because they are much cheaper here!

หลังจากพาเพื่อนไปเที่ยวสวนงูแล้ว เราะาเจาไปหาที่นอนพักเย็นๆที่เดินไปไม่ไกล ก็ไปห้องสมุดเพื่อนให้คนป่วยนอนพัก พอตกเย็นเราก็พาขึ้นรถเมล์ไปสยามเซ็นเตอร์ ให้ไปสัมผัสแสงและเสียง ของถนนที่มีรถหนาแน่น และห้างร้านที่มีผู้คนเดินไปมาด้วยความเร่งรีบ เราพาเขาไปวัดมาหลายแห่ง จึงต้องพาไปเข้าเมืองบ้าง เราพาเดินขึ้นไปที่ทางเชื่อมระหว่างมาบุญครอง สยามดิสควอเวอรี่ และสถานีรถไฟฟ้า เพื่อให้เห็นความวุ่นวายของถนนเบื้องล่าง และที่นั่นเป็นจุดน่าถ่ายรูปมาก

เราพาไปเพื่อนไปกินข้าวเย็นที่ห้างโตคิว เพราะว่าเล็กดี หาของง่ายและพนักงานพูดจาดีกว่าที่ห้างใหญ่ๆ ร้านอาหารแบบหรูและราคาแพงนั้นมีมากมายให้เลือกที่ชั้นห้า แต่เราชอบร้านอาหารเล็กๆ ที่อยู่ข้างซุปเปอร์ที่ชั้นสี่ คนไข้ยังกินอะไรที่ย่อยยากไม่ได้ เราสั่งสุกี้น้ำไก่ให้เด็ก ซึ่งเขาชอบมาก กินจนเกลี้ยงเลย เด็กกินข้าวต้มหมูชามเดียวทั้งวัน. นี่แสดงว่าปกติแล้ว เราชอบร้านอาหารพวกนี้เพราะ. เราสั่งได้ว่า ไม่ใส่ผงชูรสและนํ้าตาล กินเสร็จก็พาไปเดินฝั่งมาบุญครอง เพื่อดูร้านขายกล้องถ่ายรูป เป็นการยั่วกิเลสสักหน่อย เสียดายที่ไม่มีเวลาพาไปดู ร้านที่ขายพวกโดรนหลายสิบร้าน

These are some curious antiques!

We walked through Siam Discovery and Siam Center to see fashionable clothes on display by various shops. I must be from Jupiter as I could not understand these fashions designers at all. We also walked towards Siam Paragon to experience an awarding ceremony for top Thai series and the lighted water fountain.

After a whole day walking with occasional napping, it’s time to take the skytrain back to the hotel. So, my Steemit friends would have enough time to recuperate before the ordeal of my guided tour the following day.

เราพาเพื่อนที่กำลังหายป่วยเดินเที่ยวทั้งวัน. จึงต้องรีบส่งขึ้นรถไฟฟ้า เพื่อกลับไปที่โรงแรม เขาต้องพักผ่อนให้พอเพียง เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมกับทัวร์ของเราในวันรุ่งขึ้น
