Beer Review

Wrench is a 6.8% New England IPA brewed by Industrial Arts Brewing Company in Garnerville, New York. Industrial Arts Brewing Company opened up in 2016 and got it's name because it is situated in a pre-Civil War industrial complex in the lower Hudson Valley of New York. They specialize in producing fresh, expressive American-style beers. The Torque Wrench was the first beer I tried from Industrial Arts Brewing Company and I was impressed. Now I had the opportunity to try it's little brother, the Wrench. A hoppy, hazy IPA made with Citra and Mosaic hops.

Torque Wrench

The Can

The Wrench is served in a full pint can. The word 'Wrench' is written in red on a black honeycomb design. Red-lined gears are seen in the background of the label, giving it an industrial feel. Overall, it's a nice looking label for a beer called 'Wrench'.

The Beer

The Wrench had a bright orange color when poured it into a glass. The beer was hazy and had tropical aromas filling the air. The Wrench was a hoppy and juicy IPA with lots of citrus notes. It's truly a great beer to find on a shelf at a package store. At 6.8% it's not overpowering, but a pint definitely gets the job done. I look forward to trying more beers from Industrial Arts Brewing Company in the future!
